A helpful guide

Probably you already know what is a PTC (sometimes called PTR - Paid to Read Site) site. If you don't here is the definition from bux.to:

"At Bux.to, you get paid to click on ads and visit websites. The process is easy! You simply click a link and view a website for 30 seconds to earn money. You can earn even more by referring friends. You'll get paid $0.01 for each website you personally view and $0.01 for each website your referrals view. Payment requests can be made every day and are processed through AlertPay. The minimum payout is $10.00."
PTC sites is a way (?) to make money online.
Here are my advices if you decide to join a ptc site:

Do not invest money (from your own pocket) in PTC sites. If the site you joined turns into a scam you will lose your money. Be patient and also be an active clicker. After three to six months you will have enough money to buy referrals and you will also know which site pays and which is a scam.
If you can't wait and you want to invest for first time I suggest to spend up to $30-40 (in a trustable site). You can buy with this amount 15-35 referrals and get your money back within 1-2 months. If you ask me what I would recommend:just be patient...
You must have a good antivirus/antispyware/firewall software. Also I suggest you use Mozilla Firefox with AdBlock Plus and NoScript addons. Don't forget to clear all cookies when you logout.
Do not use the same password in every PTC site you join, if you do not want to see your accounts hacked. Example of a strong password: Wsaxc3!f$aD (use lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols).
Before you register a new account in a PTC site do a google search about the site you want to become member. Google search phrase: Company name + scam (for example bux.to scam)
If you decide to buy thousands of referrals, prefer to "split" them in many different sites. Instead of buying, for example, 2000 referrals in one PTC site, buy 500 in four PTC sites.
If you have bought referrals do not expect all of them to be active. Usually you will receive 2-3 clicks per day per referral.
Do not try to cheat (multiple accounts or autoclickers). Probably you will see your account to be banned. Autoclickers also may contain viruses.
Compare the advertising cost and user (what you'll receive per click) rates. Some sites charge for example $3 per 1000 clicks and pay $0.015 per user click ($15/1000). These sites probably are scams.
Read very carefully the TOS (Terms Of Service). Some sites do not pay, they only are ads exchange sites. Also read the FAQ section. You may find useful information there too.
Avoid sites which they are promising for example $100 per click or per email. These sites are scams! Usually you will receive per each click $0.0035$ -$0.02

In the beginning bux3.com had similar design to bux.to. Now they have a new and nice design, proof that the owner cares about his site. With 15-20 ads per day plus some offers you can reach easily $10, but you will have to wait for 60 business (=80 calendar) days if you are a standard member for payment. Bux3 had speed problems several times (sometimes seems to be "down"). Stable and fast servers would be the best solution.
